ELLIOT LAKE, Ont. – The Elliot Lake Wildcats got eight points from the trio of Spencer MacLean, Cole Hepler and Shane Woolsey to help them skate past the Soo Eagles by a 7-2 count Friday in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League match-up at Centennial Arena.

Roman Gaudet got one back for the Eagles a minute and a half later before Chad Lopez rounded out the scoring for Elliot Lake with 5:14 remaining.

Hepler dished out three assists for the Wildcats.
