The Soo Eagles will face their cross-border rivals this weekend, as they take on the Soo Thunderbirds for a pair of Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League contests. The Eagles will host the Thunderbirds on Friday at 7:30 p.m., before traveling to the Essar Centre for Saturday’s game at 7:30 p.m.

The Eagles are coming off a pair of losses last weekend to the Elliot Lake Wildcats, while the Thunderbirds won 2-of-3 games on their Eastern Ontario swing.
These teams have met two times during the regular season, with the Thunderbirds winning both games. They will meet 8 more times during the season, with the next game on November 21st at Pullar Stadium.
