SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Thursday that three more exhibition contests have been added to its preseason schedule.
On Thursday. August 29, the cross-border rival Soo Eagles and Soo Thunderbirds will tangle at 12:30 p.m. at John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault. Ste. Marie, Ont.
Later that evening the Elliot Lake Wildcats will pay a visit to Blind River for a 7 p.m. encounter with the hometown Beavers at the Community Centre.
The third match-up added to the preseason slate has the Eagles and Thunderbirds meeting once more on Friday, Aug. 30 back at John Rhodes. Game time in that one will be 6:30 p.m.
Any further NOJHL preseason games will be announced by the league, once confirmed.
