The Soo Eagles look to get back on the winning track , as they will host the Blind River Beavers on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and the Cochrane Crunch on Saturday at 7:00 p.m., during “Pink in the Rink” weekend at Pullar Stadium.
All weekend long is “Pink in the Rink” at Pullar Stadium, to raise cancer awareness in our community. The Eagles will be wearing their specialized pink jerseys throughout the weekend, and fans in attendance and watching online, will be able to bid on these jerseys. There will be other special events throughout the weekend.
The Eagles will meet the Blind River Beavers for the second time this season. The Eagles defeated the Beavers, 4-1, on September 18th at Pullar Stadium. This will be the 81st meeting between these two franchises, going back to the 2003-04 season, with the Eagles holding a 52-22-6 advantage. These teams will meet 10 more times this season, with the next matchup on November 6th at Pullar Stadium.
