SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Wednesday the recipients of its four Players of the Month honours for November.
PLAYER OF THE MONTH: COOPER BOWMAN, (F) FRENCH RIVER RAPIDS: Appearing in 10 games in November, the 20-year-old Courtice, Ont., product collected points in the eight of them, amassing 16 in total on five goals and 11 assists.
Four of his helpers came on game-winning markers and he also had a shootout tally as well.
Entering the new month, Bowman leads all NOJHL skaters in offensive production with 35 points on 14 goals and 21 assists.
He has already set personal single-season bests in the three offensive categories and has 10 multi-point efforts so far this season.

DEFENCEMAN OF THE MONTH: JADEN RAAD (D) HEARST LUMBERJACKS – The 19-year-old from Burlington, Ont., was solid on both ends of the ice helping Hearst go 8-3-0-0 for the month.
In all, Raad scored four times and also aided in six others to move into a tie for fifth spot in NOJHL scoring among defencemen.
There he has registered 18 points overall, with all five tallies picked up in November to go along with 13 assists.
So far this season, the Lumberjacks boast a record of 12-2-1-0 in contests he has etched his name on the game sheet.

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH: RYAN GILMORE (G) SOO EAGLES – Coming away victorious in each of his starts in the time frame, Gilmore was solid for Eagles sporting a crisp goals-against against average of 1.67 along with an equally solid .954 save percentage.
The 20-year-old, who calls Dewitt, Mich., home also had a 36-save shutout back on Nov. 12 in a road win at Espanola.
Gilmore has now won each of his previous seven appearances for the Michigan Soo, having not tasted defeat since back on September 24.
He currently leads all NOJHL netminders in both GAA (2.25) and SV% (.939) while his two shutouts tie him for top spot in that category.

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH: MIKE LEVIN, (F) POWASSAN VOODOOS – Since joining the Voodoos in late October, Levin has been a significant performer for his side.
Hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel and playing his minor hockey in southern Ontario, the crafty 16-year-old picked up 13 points alone in November, finding the back of the net on eight occasions while doing out five assists.
Levin scored at least once in his fist seven NOJHL games and in eight of 10 overall, giving him 11 in total.
Add in five assists and he enters December pacing all league rookies in point-per-game average at 1.60.
