SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Friday that they have extended their awards partnership agreement with CCM Hockey through the 2017-18 season.
The iconic hockey brand returns as the premier sponsor of the NOJHL CCM Hockey first and second all-star teams in recognizing those individuals’ respective efforts during the course of the campaign.
Earning accolades for those acheivements will be first and second-team honourees at centre; left wing; right wing; defence and goaltender along with general manager; head coach and trainer/equipment manager.
As well, new this season CCM Hockey will also present each of the four league performer on the month awards, (Player; defenceman; goaltender; rookie) throughout the course of the regular season.
Also, part of the extended partnership with CCM Hockey will see them recognize a pair of players with game awards for each of the 12 contests during the upcoming NOJHL Showcase, Oct. 10-11, at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury.

“The NOJHL’s continued partnerships, ongoing recognition and interest from across northern Ontario, upper Michigan and the Canadian Junior Hockey League is a testament to the extensive efforts put in by our league member clubs, our players, team staffs, volunteers and the support of our loyal fan base,” added Mazzuca.
The initial NOJHL CCM Hockey players on the month for September will be announced next week.
